I stayed at Villa Samskara for a week with family and it was one of the most relaxing weeks of my life! We walked into the villa after being greeted at the door with a welcome drink by the most friendly staff you will ever meet. I was blown away by how beautiful the villa was - everything from the kitchen, huge Balinese coffee table in the living area, amazing infinity pool, to the beautiful outdoor bathrooms attached to each of the bedrooms.The service we experienced was excellent - polite, caring and kind and ready to assist you with whatever you needed (without being over the top). Every room and bathroom in the villa was spotless, and the food cooked by the staff was great - we didn't feel like we ever needed to leave the villa! We had transport arranged for us through the villa to and from the aiport, and could also easily contact a driver during the day if we wanted to venture out anywhere. Will definitely be going back!

"The best villa I've stayed in"
What a place! It is really beautiful and I love the jungle canopy behind the villa and it is so quiet! The staff are all so attentive a nice. Seem very intent on providing 5 star hotel style service...

The jungle backdrop and the peace and quiet stands your place apart from any other I have rented in Bali before. That and the staff. The team you have are second to none. They were so willing to help and went to lengths that were really quite remarkable - for example, I lost my phone (so annoying) and Ayu (unsolicited) went out and got me a SIM card and lent me an old phone so that I had a number where my wife could call me! Gede is really sweet and so keen to help. Made is an amazing chef. Seriously talented. So you have a golden team there and I think you can be confident that they'll wow your guests with their kindness and professional levels of service. Definitely the nicest villa I have stayed in in Bali.

“Amazing Experience”
Spent a week with my family friends in this absolutely perfect escape home. The villa is a fantastic escape full of absolutely the best furnishings set in the most ideal tropical environment. From the edgeless pool to the movie room to wonderfully prepared bathrooms with thoughtful amenities everything was perfect. The staff were wonderful and attended to any need we had while serving us at all times with a smile and just the right amount of care and attention. The owners have truly capture perfection in this modern and ultra chic idyllic retreat, we will be back again many many times.

"Great villa. Amazing staff."
We stayed with a group of 5 for 5 days. The villa is modern with all the expected creature comforts done in a local Balinese style. The pool is amazing and backs onto a nice wilderness area.
The villa comfortably sleeps 6 with plenty of secluded areas for those wanting a bit of a break.
The staff are helpful and friendly. Very relaxing holiday.
The villa is located in a secluded quite village so expect peace and quiet and also a drive to some of the attractions like Seminyak or Echo Beach.

"Very relaxing atmosphere"
The whole setting is really beautiful. Villa is super stylish and comfortable, with all the details taken care of in a perfect way. It has lots of comfortable places to relax inside and around the pool. The location is great, as the villa is situated in a small local village in the middle of the rice fields. So you are away from the crowds but still very near to Echo beach and Seminyak.
Such a beautiful villa, relaxing atmosphere away from busy places but still near to everything.

"So exquisite"
We were greeted at the door to the Villa by the staff armed with cold towels and friendly smiles. We felt like royalty from that moment onwards. The villa is spectacularly beautiful and very private. It appears to be brand new and has clearly been built with an eye for design. While we were only a couple, the layout would be practical for additional people as all bedrooms had their own private outdoor bathroom. The fixtures and furnishings were exquisite and everything inside and out was beautiful to look at and perfectly executed. The green jungle canopy behind the villa is also fantastic. It creates a sense of privacy but also a connection to the earth as you can hear the sounds of nature. The pictures on the site here truly represent what the villa looks like. The staff of five were excellent – friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Made the chef was professionally trained at a restaurant in Jakarta, so we had him prepare our dinners in the evening and they were restaurant-class meals. The location is convenient to both Canggu, Echo Beach and Seminyak. But frankly, we spent the majority of our time at the villa enjoying the tranquillity, divine pool and lovely food. The real world? I don’t think so – just a week at Villa Samskara please!

"I didn't want to leave!"
This place was absolutely amazing! We had never stayed in a villa before and what a way to experience staying in a villa for the first time! This villa exceeded our expectations. The service was fantastic! There was 6 of us that stayed here in July this year as we were in Bali to attend a wedding. The villa comes with butlers who were so friendly and made us feel at home. We were treated like kings! Breakfast was included in our package and the butlers prepared breakfast for us everyday. We had homemade granola with yogurt, eggs made to your preference with toast, fresh fruit as well as any fruit juices made fresh daily. The butlers can also prepare you lunch or dinner as per request and all you have to do is pay for the ingredients and they will do all the cooking for you!
The garden and pool was well maintained as caretakers would come every morning but you don't even notice that they're there! There was day beds beside the pool where I took a few nana naps because it was so relaxing!!
The villa has its own private driver and for a fee, you can hire him for the day to take you sight seeing, echo beach which is about 15 mins away or take you anywhere you would like to go.
All rooms features your own private outdoor bathroom & shower, air conditioning & queen size bed. What I loved most about this villa was the serenity you felt, it was so private and away from the hussle and bussle of bali and it was your own private retreat- I didn't want to leave this place! The villa also has 2 wifi ports to connect to, one for the bedroom upstairs and one downstairs in the main living area.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this villa!
"Two weeks of bliss..."
Our family of four (including a 5 year old and 2 year old) had a 2 week stay at Villa Samskara and it was undoubtedly the most relaxing holiday I have had since having children.
The villa is located out of the hustle and bustle of Seminyak, but close enough (15 min drive) to pop into town for a spot of shopping or night out. Canggu and Echo Beach were only a short car ride away.
The villa is light and airy, specious, very stylish and beautifully appointed. The pool is huge and the property backs on to lush jungle. I loved afternoons lying on one of the daybeds gazing up at the tree canopy. As with most Bali villa properties, the pool was not fenced so we arranged to hire a pool fence for the duration of our stay since we were travelling with yound children. The staff assisted with the pool hire and it was all in place on our arrival.
The staff were fantastic - very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and all our needs were taken care of. The staff were very helpful and able to arrange meals in the villa, babysitting, daytrips, reservations, transport, you name it. They were so warm and kind to our children and didn't mind them tagging along and trying to 'help' as they went about their chores. The chef (Made) is clearly formally trained and meals were of an excellent quality. Made was able to whip up anything we suggested from Indonesian to European meals. It was great having the option to eat in the villa with young children.
We had such a wonderful stay and were so well looked after by the staff. After 2 weeks of bliss it was very hard to leave! I have no hestitation in recommending this fantastic villa.

"Kings & queens for a week"
My Wife and I have just spent a week at this amazing Villa. Where do I start, we were collected at the Airport by Noorah and driven to the Villa which is around 30-40 minutes from the Airport. Upon arrival we were greeted by the Team with cold towels for refreshment and breakfast as we arrived early around 8.30am. From there in it just got better we felt like royalty as nothing was a problem.
The Villa was just amazing 3 bedroom 3 bathroom with extra guest toilet downstairs, the main bedroom was huge and the bed was some thing you can just slump into, the outdoor bathroom including an amazing bath and stand under shower and being upstairs also had a balcony to admire the view around the villa and the sunrises. The Second bedroom overlooks the pool area also with outdoor bathroomA third bedroom which was also a TV room was also very comfortable. The pool was just perfect and great in the arvo when coming back to the Villa.
Best of all the staff being Made ,Ayu,Adi and Gede these guys are just amazing and without them the stay would not have been the same.
Made is the most amazing chef we only ate out 3 times as the food that he produced was as good as if not better than at a restaurant so most meals at the Villa of course.
Our 3 butlers on a rotating 16 hour shifts during the day ment there was always help if required. But if you wanted to be on your own they just slipped away. But were always on call.
Canngu beach was only 6-7 km away just a short ride through the rice paddys, where their we're many restaurants if required.
As an overall I would give this Villa a 10 out of 10. Will stay again.

"Amazing Villa"
I recently visited Samskara Villa with a couple of very good girlfriends for a long-awaited catch up and relax and we could not have asked for a better villa to spend our 3 days in - and I have stayed in quite a few villas in Bali. The villa is in a beautiful quiet village away from other touristy villas and was very peaceful and serene. The decor is so tasteful and I particularly loved the outdoor bathrooms. The staff could not have been more helpful and were able to organise anything we needed from food from the local market (which was converted into gourmet meals by the in-villa chef!) to massage ladies who came to massage us by the pool.

"Extraordinarily beautiful Villa"
Anything said here would be an understatement as it impossible to summarise the beauty and comfort experienced at Villa Samskara.
It was better than we could have ever expected much less imagined and made for quite a memorable visit to Bali. And the staff were beyond accommodating, not to mention a treat to have around. There when you needed them and made themselves scarce when not. And the food...oh man, Chef Made is a whiz. They were so lovely, and helpful and the sweetest most delightful company.
We hope to stay there again in future; sooner rather than later.

"Possibly the best villa in Bali"
Having stayed at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai prior to coming to Villa Samskara with my young daughters, this villa is the true 7 star property. The location is in a safe lane way surrounded by rice paddies, stylishly decorated with all bathroom amenities provided. The villa is airy and light and I loved that the bedrooms were all inside which made travelling with children easier. Don't waste money going to restaurants - Chef Made made the most mouth watering food ever eaten! I opted for him to make local Indonesian dishes while my daughters loved his spaghetti bolognese. His desserts of coconut panna cotta and palm sugar crepes with coconut ice cream are better than any restaurant in Bali. The staff are discreet, professional and always smiling, I felt completely safe staying there as Ngurah the driver also acts as the night time guard. The photos just don't show how truly beautiful this villa is. We can't wait to come back again next July.

"Fantastic Villa & fabulous setting"
My family and I stayed at Villa Samskara over Chinese New Year this year and the only complaint I had was that we couldn't stay longer than a week! The villa itself is just beautiful and so stylish -- each of the bedrooms is spacious and have amazing ensuite facilities. The living room and pool area are perfect for hanging out. We had dinner at the villa every night, as the food was as good, if not better than any where else. All of the staff made sure that we were well taken care of, which made our holiday that much more special. I would highly recommend Villa Samskara to anyone looking for a lovely villa experience in Bali.
